What Is Complete Implant Placement?
Complete implant placement refers to the full scope of dental implant care, including surgical placement of the implant post, healing and osseointegration, and placement of the final crown, bridge, or denture.
Unlike practices that refer you to outside specialists for surgery, our team is trained and equipped to perform every step in one familiar location. This means:
- Greater continuity of care
- Fewer appointments
- Lower overall treatment time
- Better patient comfort and communication
When Are Dental Implants Recommended?
Dental implants are ideal when you’ve lost one or more teeth due to:
- Injury or trauma
- Gum disease or decay
- Failed root canals
- Congenital absence (missing adult teeth)
- Extraction due to fracture or infection
We often recommend implants as part of full-mouth solutions such as All-on-4®, full mouth reconstruction, or to support implant-supported dentures.
Our Complete Implant Placement Process
Step 1: Comprehensive Consultation
We start with a thorough exam, digital X-rays, and 3D CBCT imaging to assess bone density, gum health, and implant site suitability.
Step 2: Treatment Planning
We’ll map out a custom treatment plan — including the number of implants needed, sedation options, and whether bone grafting or tooth extraction is required prior to placement.
Step 3: Surgical Implant Placement
Using a minimally invasive technique, we place the titanium implant post(s) into the jawbone. We offer IV sedation or oral conscious sedation for patients who prefer a more relaxed experience.
Step 4: Healing & Osseointegration
Over the next 3–6 months, your jawbone will fuse with the implant post in a process called osseointegration. Temporary restorations may be used to maintain comfort and function during this phase.
Step 5: Final Restoration
Once healing is complete, we attach your permanent crown, bridge, or denture, restoring full function and a beautifully natural look.
Why Choose Implants Over Other Tooth Replacements?
Dental implants are the only solution that replaces both the root and crown of a tooth. They offer:
- A permanent solution with proper care
- Prevention of jawbone loss and facial collapse
- No impact on neighboring healthy teeth
- Natural function and chewing power
- Long-term value with low maintenance
Compared to bridges or partial dentures, implants are more secure, comfortable, and durable.
Are You a Candidate for Implant Placement?
Ideal candidates are in good overall health and have sufficient bone in the jaw. Even if you’ve been told you’re not a candidate elsewhere, we may be able to help with options like:
- Bone grafting to rebuild jaw structure
- Sinus lift procedures for upper molar areas
- Implant-supported options tailored to your anatomy
Let’s explore your options together during your personalized consultation.
