I fell in love with the profession of dentistry the first time I set foot in the room with my first patient in dental school. I love the challenges associated with customizing care along with the thrill of interacting with so many amazing individuals. The relationships cultivated through personalized care fuel a passion in me to be the very best for my patients. A professor once intimated, "We can teach a monkey to DO what you do. It's what you know, your ability to diagnose, that makes you special." I have taken this message to heart and continue to advance my education to provide the highest level of care for my patients. After all, they are my family, and I want nothing but the best for my family!
Early in my career, I realized the importance of the relationship established between a doctor and his patients. I believe people would prefer to have someone they trust take care of all their needs. This is why I continued my education, post dental school, in a residency program that provided the skills necessary to perform most of the "specialized" treatments in dentistry. Simply put, I can provide a "one-stop-shop" for all of your family's dental needs.
My favorite part of this job is taking care of the "dentophobic" patient. I have met so many people who have a debilitating fear of coming to the dentist. The combination of the skills learned in my residency, and my passion to make a difference in these individuals lives, is the perfect recipe for success in treating those who consistently avoid dental care.
Outside the office, I am a proud husband and father. We enjoy the outdoors, running, biking, and an avid Georgia Bulldog fans!
